At least one of your icons has been hotlinked in this comm to be taken without permission or credit. Asking them to remove it will only get you laughed at, and LiveJournal refuses to shut the community down. Locking your posts won't keep them from getting your icons, either. Livejournal has an RSS Feed that shows all pictures recently posted in journals and communities, including custom mood theme pictures. The only way to keep this person from stealing your icons is to opt out of the feed.
To disable LJFeed:
Open up the adminconsole: http://www.livejournal.com/admin/console/ For a personal LJ, copy/paste the following: set latest_optout yes For a comm, copy/paste the following: set "for" COMMUNITYNAME latest_optout yes (where it says COMMUNITYNAME, delete that and type in the name of your community).
Please pass the word on and let other people and communities know.
I got the same comment and went to that link and a couple of my icons were in there. They all seem to link back to where they came from (thats how I got here), but yeah.
I don't know. I've gotten this comment twice, and I didn't see my icons there either time. I did try the admin console thing, but I can't tell if it did anything. It's a weird, sort of general command.
i did see your icon in this post that is mentioned (the broken god icon) so, as far as that goes, it's legit, but anywayyyyy it just seems dumb and i hope it stops! xoxo.
