Terrifying proof that Sarah Palin fans are...terrifying. People waiting in line for her book signing - all huge fans, would support her Presidency, and love her for her "realness". But it turns out they have no idea what her policy would be like and frankly, many of them admittedly do not care. They're just really all about the REALNESS and the AMERICAN VALUES, whatever those words mean. Also Russia really is right across the street from her house and PS: compromise is for people who are wrong.

If you watched that and need some kind of unicorn chaser, perhaps you would enjoy Lady GaGa's performance of "Bad Romance" from the AMAs, which is fun: scroll down to find it here, since I am too lazy to figure out how to embed it.

For a minute, when she's playing the burning piano, I thought of Tori Amos. Then I had thoughts about how Tori Amos in disguise (really, really deep disguise) as a pop star might be something like this and wow, wouldn't that be an interesting twist on the idea that Lady Gaga is a performance artist in pop star clothes, playing with the image. At that point I decided I needed to finish my coffee. :)

It's interesting (and scary) but when I see videos like this I have to wonder how Obama supporters would have answered similar questions, especially before the election. Some were well informed, of course, but many people weren't.

Still, she's a scary scary woman. I'm ashamed that I read so many articles about her - it's sort of like a train wreck.
