mmm, this candy is so BITTER
Dec. 4th, 2009 09:07 amDid you know pine nuts could cause taste distubances? Well, they can - and I am living proof. We had pine nuts in our dinner on Monday. Maybe two or three days ago, I developed a mysterious bitter taste in my mouth whenever I eat or drink. Based on my Googling, I am convinced this is my problem! I got the bad nut! Lucky me!
The moral of the story - kids, enjoy your pine nuts with caution. Keep 'em fresh, keep them Italian... keep it real. If you develop a phantom bitter taste a day or two after eating them, do not assume you have a brain tumor.
Duty calls!
