Jan. 16th, 2006 04:29 pmI've had a migraine all day today despite Imitrex (it's just starting to get better now, actually) and I am expressing my frustration by listening to old-school Alanis Morissette. ;) I ordered the acoustic Jagged Little Pill today with Amazon gift certificate money - my teen-of-the-90s colors are showing!
I did very little with my 3 day weekend, though I had good intentions of getting ahead on practicum seminar work and stuff. I really needed the break, though...I slept more, and we watched Troy (he's my cousin! MY COUSIN!) and I played Harvest Moon and made icons. Which was awesome. :) It rained all weekend, so it wasn't the best time for Doing Things anyway. Oh, and I finished reading "Day of Tears" by Julius Lester, and worked on Poe's "Tales of Mystery and Imagination". I really need to read faster. I have a list of stuff I want to read that I keep on the library system website, and it's at 51 books that I came up with off the top of my head.
Oh, and I ordered one thing from the BPAL Valentine's Day update: Red Lantern. Because I want to smell like a bawdyhouse of Shagnhai in the 1930s! And also, caramel, currant, coconut? Mmm. I just hope the amber behaves itself on my skin. Plus, I got an imp of Florence, for inspiration in our travel planning. :)
Babble babble babble. I keep feeling like I have something real to post, but do I? Not so much.
