new plan

Ryan and I are going to start a two-person punk band, of which I will be the lead singer because I'm good at yelling. For our first single, we plan to cover "In My Room" by the Beach Boys. (Try singing it really fast and yelling - it works I tell you!)

Today the sun came out for the first time in a week. It wasn't consistent, and it rained more than it was sunny, but still! We went on a hike to the place on Narragansett Bay where the seals sometimes come up on the rocks at this time of year. There were no seals today, but it was a nice, if slightly soggy, walk. :) Then we went to Brickley's for the last ice cream cone of the season (they were closing tonight) but it was...closed. A day early. So we decided to go to the other Brickley's, which is staying open until the 29th...but it was closed too, because of a road block!

However, the universe will not deny me ice cream for long. We happen to have some Brickey's pumpkin ice cream in the freezer right now. And my plans for the evening include that ice cream, and also this week's Gilmore Girls. :)
