Jun. 16th, 2005 04:26 pmToday, there was a story on the 12 o'clock news about a woman whose ceramic Jesus statue had been stolen from her front lawn. Apparently, they actually did a story about the theft on the news yesterday, and as a result of the story she got her statue back, so they reported on that today. Now, I'm glad she got her statue back, but for heaven's sake - since when is the theft of lawn ornaments (even if they are treasured Jesus statues!) a newsworthy item?
