really knocked you off your feet
Apr. 30th, 2005 08:34 pmSo, I was gone for a week, and then I came back to all sorts of busy stuff for the past week, and it'll probably be another week before I have much time to myself again. Just to let you all know I am still alive and stuff. I have been skimming LJ sporadically, but if I have missed anything in your life that I should know about, make sure you tell me, okay?
Disney was fun...I don't have the energy to talk about that very much so suffice it to say, for now, that I will post pictures and maybe some more stuff about it soon. Ryan and I got to meet [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] while we were there and that was great too - pictures of her and I with a certain beloved fuzzy blue alien coming soon! ;)
I feel like I have a million things to write out - nothing important, really, just stuff that has been moving around in my head today. It's one of those writing kinds of days - the kind of rainy weather that makes me think of being an impassioned kid on a day like this, with a head full of ghosts and stories. (We were out today, parking behind the co-op, when I thought of a rainy day in Middlebury Vermont, when I was...I don't know, 15?...and I started writing this ghost story in my notebook, mulling it over while I ate borscht at some restaurant there, and walked to the candy store, and watched a brook...) I don't have enough time to write though, right now. I'm afraid that by the time I do, the urge to do so will be burnt out. It comes and goes, you know?
Kelly has been here this week and she watched Buffy's last season in long, intense bursts. She is feeling the pain of Joss' cruelty right now, and I have sympathy Buffy pangs/longings. Also, I want to make icons. :) (Kelly, the icon I used for this post, I used for you. Happy Spuffy! :))
I will write more later, or soon. Right now I want to try to finish and email my portfolio to my professor, and then watch Gilmore Girls and breathe a sigh of relief. Until tomorrow, anyway, when I start on the Take-home Final Exam of Doom.
