Apr. 20th, 2004 10:09 amBest. Weekend. Ever!
It was [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]'s birthday yesterday, so we celebrated all weekend with fun stuff. He wrote about it at more length in his journal, so I will just say:
The Roger Williams Zoo is way fun. There are pictures here of lots and lots of zoo animals and stuff.
The Castle Cinema was also fun. It is in a cool building with paintings on the ceiling and car seats in the theaters, and Crazy Burger food. We saw "Girl With a Pearl Earring" and had dinner and raspberry key lime pie. Mmm. The Castle Cinema is closing this month, though. (If you are around here, go there as often as you can this month. They're trying to generate enough business to stay open, and it would be a shame to lose this place.)
There was also baking and ice cream and walking around in the sunshine and a wonderfully cheese-o-licious Antonio Banderas movie last night (Original Sin).
It was sunny and beautiful all weekend. It is still sunny and beautiful today. I don't want to do work, I just want to sit next to my open window or go out for a walk. Stupid school, aren't we done yet?
The March in Washington D.C. is this Sunday! If you're going and I don't already know it, let me know so we can try to meet up.
In other news, I bought the new camera I've been saving up for and it's on it's way here on a FedEx truck right now. I am excited! It had better arrive while I am still here though - if they come this afternoon after I leave for class, I will be Mightily Pissed. I want my camera!
And now, I should stop babbling and start doing homework. I apologize for my public procrastination. :)
