Okay, so it turns out that we were supposed to have moved out of our apartment by the end of May, because I graduated. I signed a lease that went until December, and I confirmed that I could stay through the summer (despite my impending graduation) verbally with the person I signed it with, but it turns out...that person was wrong, or something. Whatever. So now we have to find a place to move and you know, move there. Interstate moving on the quick is fun!

I'm going to talk to housing about letting us stay through June because that would be SANE AND REASONABLE given that they just sent the letter telling me all this TODAY, but either way, I may be kind of crazy-busy for a while dealing with this. Yay.

that makes no sense at all if you signed a lease through december. Don't they have to follow through on that as a legal contract? You wouldn't be able to just back out of the lease early if you wanted to. That's so crazy. I hope you get things figured out soon.
