Today we went on somewhat ill-fated trip to Lucca. Ill-fated in that the train that was supposed to come every half an hour didn't, so we ended up standing around the Santa Maria Novella train station for a really. long. time. Then we missed the train that we wanted to take back, so we had to wait an hour for another one. So travel-wise, it kind of sucked. But Lucca was very nice, even though we didn't get to spend as much time there as we'd hoped. It seems like a nice place to be. There are lots of trees, and you can walk around the city on the city walls, which are all greenery and breeze and aaaah. The city itself seems to have no sidewalks, but hey, the wall kind of makes up for that. :)

We came home all exhausted, had dinner (mmmm dinner) and gelato (mmm gelato) and then watched Veronica Mars! Yes, I have now seen the season finale. Phew! Now it is pretty much time for me to fall over and sleep, but quick-like:

I gasped (in the good, but bad, but good way) at the Beaver-was-the-rapist thing. I think it was perfect. The fact that we only had Beav's point of view in A Trip to the Dentist always did leave a wriggling sense of weirdness with me, and I like that they used that. I read that some of you thought it was over the top Eeeevil, but I guess I didn't think so. It worked for me. What might have been too much was the fact that he was also the one who killed Curly, but I guess you try to cover up things like mass murder with, you know, more murders.

Weevil's non-graduation made me so sad. Heartbreak city, people. And though I didn't really believe Keith was on the plane, Veronica's reaction to that really killed me as well. And Logan being there to save her, and comfort her, and oh! The macking at the end kind of caught me by surprise, but I'm going to assume there was some time in between finding out Daddy Mars was alive and leaving for NYC.

I feel good about Aaron being dead and satisfied that Duncan had it done. It plays on the Duncan-as-creepy-zombie-person thing, too. ;)

Annnnd I am sure I had more to talk about, but I should go to bed now. Tomorrow is our last day here (we leave early Friday morning) so I have to be all rested in order to make the most of it.

Sorry, I understand - it's just that when you approach random people (I assume from a VM community) with a link to your comm, people are going to take that as spamming. There's a community for promotions you can use - [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com], I think it is, or something along those lines.

I appreciate the offer to delete the comment, thank you. :)

I understand why it upset you as well. people have left me comments before so I just thought I'd try.

did you want me to delete it?
& I found you through other lims. and saw you liked vmars, so I thought I'd give it a try.
