Welcome to 2006.
In 2005, there was birth and death in my life for the first time since I was a kid. My sister got married. Everyone close to me grew and changed, and I grew and changed a lot too. I got braver and stronger and more self-sufficient. Now that I think about it, this year was really full of events that mark change.
If all goes as planned and knock on wood and all that, in 2006 I will have finished the semester I'm starting in a few days - the last of my program, the Big Scary, and I will graduate. I will also travel overseas for the first time. This year, I think, will also be about change and growing and pushing myself really hard. Who needs resolutions when growth is being forced upon you, you know? I chose it already, by making the plans I have made, and now I just have to do it.
Happy New Year. :-*
