I failed to update you, but I had a really great, special New Years eve. Ryan already posted about it, so I will just link you to him if you haven't seen it already. And also, happy new year to everyone!

It is snowing here. There are giant flakes that aren't accumulating on the ground...but schools are closed for the afternoon anyway. We went grocery shopping this morning and now I have a house full of food, and a giant stack of books from the library. I plan to spend the rest of my afternoon reading "Like Water for Chocolate", getting things ready to mail (like your package, KJ :)), drinking tea I got for Christmas, and eating fruit.

My posts are so often completely random. Sorry about that. Maybe one of these days I'll post actual content, but for now, enjoy the linkage! :)

That's absolutely okay, and I'm glad you like them :)

If it's any help, here's what you do. Right-click on the icon you want. Click "save as" or whatever it says (it should say something like that). Rename it however you want (I usually name icons I download by the name of the person who made them, followed by a keyword) and save it. This will save it to your computer.

Then, go to "Manage" and under that "user pictures" on LJ. There you'll be able to upload the icon to LJ. Choose "from file" and hit browse. Find the icon on your computer and select it. Hit okay or open or whatever it says. You'll need to give it keywords on LJ - to give credit, type in my username (mangofandango) and whatever keyword you want (so, for example, "mangofandango britney1"). Click OK or save changes or whatever it is, and you're all done! I promise, it's easier than it sounds. :)

Oh hee, as soon as I got done typing that out, I noticed you have an icon! So you must have succeeded. Yay! :)
