public list-making is so totally awesome.

I woke up this morning around 6:30 with a migraine, so I took Excedrin and went back to sleep. I woke up about an hour later, tapping my fingers on my pillow and making lists in my head. The caffeine has hit!
Before school starts or as soon as possible thereafter:
*read as many of the new books as possible, emphasis on things that need screening or heavy promotion
*cover and label as many new books as possible to get ahead of the game
*complete as much of the curriculum planning as possible (throughout the year, realistically)
*reshelve the entire stinking library
*get the electrician to install an outlet for me, if that wasn't done while I was gone camping
*order shelf markers, supplies we will need in the first weeks of school, AR prizes if necessary
*email the principal with parent/student handbook additions
*work on selection policy (throughout the year, realistically)
*renumber and reshelve the non-fiction we pulled at the end of the year
*purge some old reference materials
*buy plants for visual blocking purposes
Today I will do at-home stuff - curriculum, reading, online shopping planning. Tomorrow, I will go to school and reshelve, purge, and get book covering materials.
Other stuff to do:
*get cash for Angelique (remember appt. tomorrow)
*go finally get my stupid hair cut
*do the rest of the camping-related laundry
*someday I really ought to go to the gym. Hmm.
I have a lot of caffeine buzz but very little actual energy. This is distressing.
