(no subject)

Ryan and I saw "Sin City" yesterday. I was surprised at how much I liked it - it was really, really good. It was also really, really violent - which I'm not good at at all. When I saw Tarantino was an assistant director, I got very nervous, because I really don't like his movies and his gleeful approach to violence usually really upsets me. But this didn't upset me much, even though I admit to looking away and covering my ears a few times. It was really cool-looking - just like the comic books, and it had great comic-booky/stereotypical film noir dialogue (for example: "Damn you, Dwight (was that his name?). You *fool*!" :)) And dude...Elijah Wood, aka cute little hobbit face, was so, so, so skin-crawlingly creepy ew ew ew. You know how his eyes can be really pretty? They can also be freaky as hell.

Oh, and RORY was in it. Except, you know, she wasn't Rory. But she did "fracture her arm" and talk to her mom on the phone a lot! :)

So anyway, today it was supposed to rain a lot. Like, flooding, get-out-the-ark kind of rain. But it's um, not raining, so I'm going outside while I still can now.
