Mar. 9th, 2004 10:22 amI learned to purl yesterday. That's pretty much what I spent my afternoon doing - it's not really any more complicated than knitting, I just wasn't getting it. Today I think I will start a ribbed (for her pleasure) scarf with the yarn I bought this weekend. It is soft and pretty and I'm scared to start something with it for fear of messing it up, but as knitting goddess [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] said, if I mess up, I will learn to fix stuff. :)
My other big exciting plan for today is to make a list of all the homework I have to do and get as much of it done as I can. Spring break isn't very break-like if you spend all your time worrying about the list of things you have to do, right? Right. So I'll get on that.
It is snowing in the way it does in stories outside - really soft, gentle, big flakes. I feel quiet, and even though I sort of want to write, there's not a lot coming out right now.
