Feb. 16th, 2004 12:51 amI see that most of you who were celebrating had happy valentine's days...I am happy for you. And those of you who weren't celebrating, well, I hope you had a good weekend :)
Our Valentine's Day was really great. Ryan woke me up with breakfast in bed and asked if I wanted to go to Maine for the day (in the words of Meredith, WOIHSMNDO;IYWXG2998 !!!!one!!11!! :)) So we ran off on a surprise day trip to Ogunquit. I have the best valentine ever.
We had so much fun! It was a beautiful day, and we went to the beach for a little bit and bought candy at the candy store, and stuffed animals at the toy store! I have a little stuffed hippo and his name is Tubby, and Ryan got a beanie baby monkey. :) And we went to dinner at the Impastable Dream and got very very full and then drove home. I took pictures of Boston at night through the windshield, and I don't think any of them will look like anything, but I will post some soon if they do.
Today I bought a skirt for the Vagina Monlogues, because we are supposed to wear black and red or pink, and I lacked black. I also got a shirt to wear with the skirt, because it was on sale. It is very cute and I'm excited about it, but the cashier left the ink tag on it...so now we have to go all the way back to Warwick to get it removed. Siiigh. But still, it is a nice shirt. :)
I should really, really be in bed. I'm tired and (perhaps obviously) kind of punchy. Good night and happy day-after-valentine's-day aka Sunday (or Monday now, actually)!
