So, the mice we had in our room?

We have caught two now. And they are not mice, they are shrews. Did I say that already? SHREWS. They are little and have pointing, wiggly noses and appear to be mostly blind. They've got little claws and look super soft. Did you know shrews are *venomous*? I didn't, but dude, they are. The internet said so. Apparently, the venom cannot harm the enormous likes of us, but they use it to stun other animals. I do not know for what purpose, but that's what they do.

So. Shrews. That's the big excitement here lately. We still do have mice, but so far I think they are only in the basement. It seems to be shrews who like our bedroom. I'm hoping I get to sleep through the night tonight. THE CRITTERS ARE STRESSING ME OUT, MAN.

I'm feeling sort of randomly melacholy tonight. No particular reason, I'm just struggling with ennui. Have been for a large part of the afternoon/evening. It's weird. This probably means I am tired and should go to bed early, or something. I was out late last night, at a Super Bowl party. That's right folks, I was out AMONG PEOPLE AND PAST MY BEDTIME. No wonder I'm messed up today. My equilibrium is thrown. ;)
