ALA, here I come!
Mar. 19th, 2007 05:54 pmThis afternoon, I made up my mind and registered for the ALA 2007 conference in Washington, D.C at the end of June. Hotel reservations are made, badges purchased, and schedules highlighted. Tomorrow I fill out professional development stuff so I can get credit for doing this, and maybe get a wee bit of the money I spent reimbursed, possibly.
Ryan has decided to come with me and go to some of the tech stuff, and the author-related stuff. So we can drive down! The hotel we got is 5 miles away from the convention center place, but there's a shuttle. And since we're getting in the day before things really get going, we'll have a little bit of time to do something non-library-related, like visit a museum or something.
